The Alliance for a Healthier Generation works with schools, companies, community organizations, healthcare professionals and families to transform the conditions and systems that lead to healthier kids.
Brief
Healthier Generation's digital products serve the diverse needs of the organizations and systems with which they work. Each product has its own ecosystem of needs, challenges, and stakeholders.
Solution
Developing requirements for products involves working closely with all departments and end users to understand their needs, identify barriers, innovate solutions, prioritize the work, facilitate production, assist with quality assurance, and iterate the products post-launch.
This work requires competence in a variety of disciplines and techniques such as user-centered design, user experience design, graphic design, prototyping, focus groups, usability testing, multivariate testing, technical writing, front-end development and project management.
In more than five years of working on these challenges, I've developed a deep knowledge of public health interventions, school and district organizations, and how digital products can best meet the needs of our end users.
